Notes: Teams in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series will run the same Goodyear tire codes at Talladega this weekend. This is the same combination of left and right side tires that these teams have run at Talladega since the beginning of 2011. NASCAR teams have also run this same tire set-up at Daytona over the last three seasons. This left side tire code (D-4138) has been run by Sprint Cup teams at Talladega since 2009. As on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners in all four tire positions at Talladega. Air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
