Teams in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Camping World Truck Series will run the same Goodyear tire codes at Charlotte this week. This is the same combination of left and right side tires that teams in both of these series ran at Charlotte last season. This left side tire code (D-4428) dates back to Charlotte in 2011 for Sprint Cup teams. This right tire code (D-4552) was run by Cup teams at Darlington last weekend. In Camping World Truck, Charlotte is the only track at which teams run either of these two tire codes. Normally, Sprint Cup tires are branded "Goodyear Eagle" and Camping World Truck tires are branded "Goodyear Wrangler," however, throughout Charlotte's Speed Weeks, all tires will be decaled with "Support Our Troops" as part of the Goodyear Gives Back program. As on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners in all four tire positions at Charlotte. air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
