Notes: Teams in both NASCAR series in action at Michigan this weekend will run the same right-side tire code (D-4560), though they will run different left side codes. The Sprint Cup Series' left-side code is D-4558. This is the same combination of left and right side tires that Sprint Cup teams ran at Michigan last August. This is also the same tire set up Cup teams have run at the last two races at Kansas April 2013 and October 2012. As on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners on all four tire positions at Michigan. Air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.

The only change to this right side tire is that it has slightly less gauge (tread thickness) than last year’s tire. Nationwide teams have run this right side tire once in the past – at Kansas last October.
