McMurray’s best start at the track is third (2007) and his best finish is also third (2003, 2010). His average starting position is 16.9 and his average finishing position is 17.1. The No.1 team looks to improve on their finish from last spring race at Bristol, where McMurray finished seventh.
#2- Brad Keselowski - Keselowski has made 6 starts at Bristol, scoring 2 wins, 2 top 5's and 2 top 10's. Brad's average finish at the track is 13.667 and he has ked 347 laps.
#5- Kasey Kahne - In 18 Sprint Cup starts at Bristol Motor Speedway, Kahne has one pole position, three top-five finishes, seven top-10s and has led a total of 347 laps. He earned his best finish at the short track in August 2007 when he started from the pole position and finished second. Most recently at the .533-mile short track in August 2012, Kahne led 42 laps and crossed the finish line ninth.
#7- Dave Blaney - Blaney knows his way around Bristol with 25 races under his belt. With his best finish of 14th in the fall 2006 race, Dave has an average finish of 30.3.
#9- Marcos Ambrose - Ambrose has posted two top-fives and four top-10s in his eight starts at the .53-mile track and has an average finish of 16.5.
#10-Danica Patrick - Patrick will make only her 2nd start in the Cup series at Bristol. Patrick started 34th and finished ninth in the August 2012 Nationwide race at Bristol. One night later, in the Sprint Cup race, she was in the top-20 and on the lead lap with 66 laps remaining when her car was hit by another car and contacted the SAFER Barrier on the inside retaining wall of the front stretch. She finished 29th.
#14-Tony Stewart - Stewart has one pole, one win, four top-threes, six top-fives, eight top-10s and has led a total of 1,355 laps in his 28 career Sprint Cup starts at Bristol. His average start is 15.1, his average finish is 17.6 and he has a lap completion rate of 96.2 percent.
#15- Clint Bowyer - Bristol: Bowyer will make his 15th NSCS start Bristol on March 17. In 14 previous starts, Bowyer has four top-five and seven top-10 finishes - two third-place finishes and two fourth place finish. In 2012, Bowyer finished fourth in the spring and seventh in the fall. Bowyer has an average starting position of 20th and finish of 17th. He has led 82 laps, including 81 at the spring race in 2008.
#16- Greg Biffle - A year ago Biffle claimed the pole position at Bristol. Biffle has 20 Sprint Cup Series starts at Bristol, earning six top-five and 11 top-10 finishes. He has an average starting position of 12.9 and finishing position of 12.2 at the short track.
#17- Ricky Stenhouse Jr - Stenhouse will make his first Sprint Cup career start at Bristol this weekend.
#18- Kyle Busch - Busch has five wins, seven top-five finishes and 11 top-10s, and he’s led a total of 1,375 laps in his 16 career Sprint Cup starts at Bristol. His average Bristol finish is 10.3
#22- Joey Logano - Logano will make his 9th start at Bristol this week. He has earned 1 pole and 1 top 10 with an 8th place finish in the August race in 2012. He has an average finish of 22.125 and has led 143 laps at the track.
#24- Jeff Gordon - Last August at Bristol, Gordon finished third - one of 16 top-fives and 22 top-10's he has at the 0.533-mile track. The four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion also has five victories, five poles and 2,647 laps led in 40 starts.
#29- Kevin Harvick - Sunday’s event at Bristol Motor Speedway will mark Harvick’s 25th Sprint Cup Series-career start at the half-mile facility. Through the years, the RCR veteran driver has collected one victory (March 2005), nine top-five and 12 top-10 finishes. He has completed 11,790 of 12,013 (98.1 percent) of the laps contested and is credited with 427 laps led.
#31- Jeff Burton - Burton has 38 starts at Bristol Motor Speedway with one win (2008), eight top-five and 15 top-10 finishes. In addition, he has led 322 laps at the 0.533-mile facility.
#36- J J Yeley - With seven previous starts at Bristol’s Thunder Valley, Yeley’s top finish was 13th in 2007.
#39- Ryan Newman - In 23 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Bristol, Newman boasts three poles, one top-five and 12 top-10 finishes. Additionally, the 35-year-old driver has led 112 laps of competition, has an average starting position of 9.5, an average finish of 17.4 and has completed 93.1 percent of the laps he’s contested (10,254 of 11,013).
#42- Juan Pablo Montoya - Montoya looks to make his 13th start this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway. In his 12 starts at the half-mile oval he has three top-10 finishes, zero DNF’s and has completed 5,996 of 6,013 laps (99.7%). He has an average starting and finishing position of 20.7 and 17.8, respectively. Montoya’s best start of second came in 2007 and his best finish of seventh came in 2010.
#43- Aric Almirola - Aric Almirola will make his eighth start at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway this weekend in the No. 43 Smithfield Ford. Almirola posted his best finish of eighth at the .53-mile short track in 2008.
