Tire: Goodyear Eagle Road Course Radials 

Number of Tires: 2,200

Set limits: 5 sets for practice/qualifying and 6 sets for the race

Tire Code: D-4590 (same on all four tire positions)

Tire Circumference: 88.6 in. (2,250 mm)

Technical Inspection Inflation: Left Front -- 23 psi; Right Front -- 23 psi;
Left Rear -- 20 psi; Right Rear -- 20 psi

Minimum Recommended Inflation: Left Front -- 22 psi; Right Front -- 20 psi;
Left Rear -- 17 psi; Right Rear -- 17 psi

Notes: Teams in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will run the same Goodyear tire code on all four tire positions at Sonoma. This is the first time Sprint Cup teams have run this code (D-4590) at Sonoma. Compared to what was run at this track last season, this tire features a slight compound change and a reduction in gage (tread thickness). This code is also run as the right-side tire at Martinsville. Sprint Cup teams will run this tire on the circuit's other road course  Watkins Glen in August. As on all NASCAR road courses, teams will not run inner liners in their tires at Sonoma.

Wet Weather Tires: Goodyear will also bring 600 wet weather radials (D-4215) for use at Road America, should NASCAR decide that conditions warrant.
