NASCAR Driver Statistics - New Hampshire


Not all teams announce their weekly race previews'. Here is a list of those teams that do reveal the information in the teams race preview: 

#1- Jamie McMurray - Jamie McMurray has 20 previous starts at the NHMS in NSCS competition.  McMurray’s best start of third came in 2003 and his best finish of third came in 2010.  He has four top-10 and two top-five finishes with an average start of 21.6 and average finish of 22.8.  McMurray has completed 5575 of 5968 (93.4%) laps of competition and has led 32 laps in the Granite State.

#2- Brad Keselowski - In seven previous Cup races at Loudon, Keselowski has scored 1 pole, 2 top 5's, 4 top 10's and no DNF's. His best finish was 2nd on 09/25/2011. Brad has an average start of 15.571, an average finish of 14.000 and he has led 10 laps at the one mile oval.

#5- Kasey Kahne -  In 18 Sprint Cup starts at New Hampshire, Kahne has one win, three top-five finishes and eight top-10's. He has started from the outside pole position four times at the Magic Mile, including two of the last three events there. Kahne has led 274 career laps at New Hampshire.

#9- Marcos Ambrose - The Camping World RV Sales 301 will mark Ambrose’s ninth start at the one-mile track. The Australian native’s best finish of ninth came in the July event in 2011 with the No. 9 team. He also has two Nationwide and one truck series start at the Northeast track. Ambrose has led 6 laps, has an average start of 22.00 and an average finish of 21.00 at the track.

#10-Danica Patrick - The Camping World RV Sales 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon will mark Danica Patrick’s 29th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start and her first at New Hampshire. Patrick competed in NASCAR Nationwide Series races in Loudon in June 2010 and July 2012, with a 14th-place result in last year’s event. She finished sixth in the 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series race at New Hampshire

#14-Tony Stewart - Stewart has one pole, three wins, 10 top-threes, 14 top-fives, 17 top-10s and has led a total of 1,218 laps at New Hampshire, second only to Jeff Gordon’s total of 1,316 laps led at New Hampshire. Stewart and Gordon are the only two drivers to lead more than 800 laps at New Hampshire.

#15- Clint Bowyer - Bowyer is one of five drivers to score their first win at Loudon in September 2007. In 14 Cup races at the track he has 1 pole, 2 wins, 4 top 5's, 6 top 10's and 1 DNF. His most recent win was September 2010. Bowyer has an average start of 12.643, an average finish of 15.071 and he has led 475 laps at the one mile track.

#16- Greg Biffle - Biffle has 21 starts at Loudon, earning one win, in September of 2008,five top-five and eight top-10 finishes. He has led 86 laps and has an average start of 15.524 and an average finish of 16.333.

#17- Ricky Stenhouse Jr - Stenhouse has three Nationwide career starts, earning two top-five and two top-10 finishes. This will be the Sprint Cup rookie’s first Cup start at Loudon but the team tested at NHMS in June to get the rookie some track time.

#18- Kyle Busch - The Camping World RV Sales 301 will mark Kyle Busch’s 312th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start and his 17th Sprint Cup start at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon. Busch has one win, four top-five finishes and six top-10's, and has led a total of 345 laps in 16 career Sprint Cup starts at New Hampshire. His average New Hampshire finish is 16.7.

#20- Matt Kenseth - Kenseth has 26 previous Cup Series starts at New Hampshire and has earned 5 top 5's, 12 top 10's and only 1 DNF. His most recent win came in September of 2004. Matt has led 89 laps at the track with an average start spot of 21.115 and an average finish spot of 14.000. 

#22- Joey Logano - Logano will make his 10th start at Loudon this weekend. He has earned one win, in June of 2009, 2 top 5's, 4 top 10's and 1 DNF. Logano has led 15 laps and has an average start of 23.667 and an average finish of 15.333 at the track.

#24- Jeff Gordon - Gordon has started all 36 races at New Hampshire Speedway. In 36 starts at the 1.058-mile track, Gordon has three wins and four poles, while his 16 top-fives, 21 top-10′s, 30 lead lap finishes, 10, 456 laps completed and 1,316 laps led are all tops at the New Hampshire track. Gordon's average start is 9.889 and his average finish is 10.472.

#27- Paul Menard - Menard has 12 starts at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. His best start of seventh and best finish of 12th both came in 2012. The Wisconsin native has completed 3,520 of 3,560 laps attempted (98.9 percent) at the Loudon, N.H., track. 

#29- Kevin Harvick - Since 2001, Harvick has made 24 starts at the 1.058-mile oval, collecting one win (September 2006), one pole award (September 2006), five top-five and 12 top-10 finishes. The California native holds a 14.1 average starting position, coupled with a 13.7 average finishing position, has completed 99.2 percent (7,021 of 7,075) of the laps contested and is credited with 319 laps led. 

#31- Jeff Burton - This race marks Burton's 37th start in "The Granite State" and 674th-career Sprint Cup Series entry. He has amassed four wins, eight top-five and 13 top-10 finishes at the 1.058-mile facility and led 940 laps.

#39- Ryan Newman - The Camping World RV Sales 301 will mark Newman’s 23rd Sprint Cup start at New Hampshire. Newman has six poles, three wins (September 2002 and 2005, July 2011), six top-five finishes and 15 top-10's at “The Magic Mile.” Additionally, the 35 year-old driver has led 720 laps, has an average starting position of eighth and an average finish of 12.7 at the 1.058-mile oval.

#42- Juan Pablo Montoya - Montoya has 12 career starts at NHMS, boosting one top-five and two top-10 finishes. He has won back to back poles at New Hampshire in the fall of 2009 and at the spring 2010 race. He has led 149 laps and has completed 3,532 laps out of 3,560 possible laps (99.2%).  His average starting position is 16.9 and his average finish is 20.2.

#43- Aric Almirola - Almirola has five Sprint Cup Series starts at the New England track. He posted his best finish of 18th in the September 2008 event. He also has one Nationwide start, where he started fourth and finished fifth, and five truck series starts at the mile track.
His average start spot is 27.00 and average finish is 24.00.

#47- Bobby Labonte - Bobby Labonte has five top-five finishes, 11 top-10 finishes, one pole (9/17/00 race) and has led 72 laps in 36 starts at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. His average start is 16.139 and his average finish is 16.899.

#48- Jimmie Johnson - Johnson's New Hampshire Quick Stats: Three wins (July and September 2003, July 2010). Eight top-five finishes (36.4 percent) and 15 top-10s (68.2 percent) in 22 starts. Average start of 11.1 and average finish of 9.5. Completed 6,407 of 6,475 laps (98.9 percent) and led 321.

#55- Brian Vickers - In 15 starts at New Hampshire, Vickers has two top-five finishes (2006 and 2011), three top-10 finishes (2006, 2011, 2012) and has led 62 laps. Vickers has led 62 laps at Loudon and has an average start of 18.533 with an average finish of 20.333 

#88- Dale Earnhardt Jr -  In 27 Cup starts at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Earnhardt has seven top-five finishes and 11 top-10's. He has an average start of 16.4 at the 1.058-mile oval and an average finish of 16.1. The driver of the No. 88 National Guard Chevrolet SS has led 351 laps there.

#99- Carl Edwards -  In 17 NSCS starts at NHMS, Edwards has achieved two top-five and three top-10 finishes. Edwards’ best finish at Loudon is second place, captured in July of 2006. He has an average start of 15.176 and an average finish of 14.471 with 70 laps led.
